Are Linens and Towels Provided?
All rental properties are provided with bedding and towels. A starter supply of tissue paper, bath soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent and bath soap is supplied. We recommend bringing any over-sized towels to use at the pool and beach. See a full list of "what to bring" below.
Is There Cleaning At My Departure?
Accommodations will be cleaned prior to check in and at departure. Additional housekeeping service is available upon request for an additional charge.
What If We Arrive After Hours?
If your rental home requires checking into our office at your arrival, your check in packet will be in our outside check in box. Please call our office for the code to the check in box. Refer to your pre-arrival email if you are in need of detailed arrival instructions, or give us a call.
Are There Organized Activities for Children?
There are numerous organized activities available on the island. Several can be found at the various hotels such as the Marriott in Palmetto Dunes and the Westin at Port Royal. Please call our office for a listing of other organized activities and camps for children.
What Is “Free Tennis” and Is It Included in My Rental?
Free tennis entitles you to one or two (depending on the package and facility) hour(s) of court time each day at a designated tennis center. It is included in many of our properties but not all. Ask one of our staff members for more details.
What Do We Need to Bring?
Here are a few items that we suggest bringing: beach towels, beach gear, hair dryers, groceries and condiments, paper products and trash bags, bagged ice and cooler, reusable shopping totes (Hilton Head Island has banned single-use plastic grocery bags) and a camera.
Is There Assigned Parking?
There is no assigned parking, however there is no difficulty parking near your villa. Homes have driveway parking.
Can We Have an Early Check In or a Late Check Out?
Check-in time begins at 4pm. We ask that you allow our staff and housekeeping companies the time to get your property ready for your arrival. If you get to the island before your property is ready, enjoy the island’s many shops, restaurants and beaches. You will automatically be contacted from our office if your property becomes available prior to 4pm. If you do not hear from us, check in any time after 4pm. In some cases, housekeepers will need additional time. We appreciate your patience!
Late check outs are not available during the summer season.
Do Entry Doors Lock Automatically?
Most villa's front doors lock automatically upon exit. At Port Royal Village villas, ALWAYS depart from side "A" - never side "B". The villa key only opens side "A". Many doors require the added step / security feature of a deadbolt lever in addition to the key-less entry code. Door lock types vary by unit.
